Makes 8-10 servings.
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 2 tbsp molasses
- 1 cup Local Hive honey
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Cayenne pepper, to taste
- Whisk all ingredients together in a medium sauce pan over medium heat.
- Allow the honey barbecue sauce to simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Store in an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use.
