We’ve blogged about honey’s cough-conquering properties before, but Cindy’s recipe struck us as especially potent and worth sharing. Plus, it just tastes so much better than store-bought cough syrup, without any of the alcohol or artificial ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1/4 cup Apple Cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup Local Hive Honey
Directions:
- Warm the water over medium-low heat. Mix well until saturated. Take about a tablespoon at a time, as needed, for sore throat, cough and cold symptoms.
