Strawberry Honey Mint Lemonade

Recipes

Nothing hits quite like ice-cold lemonade on a medium-hot day—not too hot, but just enough to feel like spring is in full swing.l

Especially when that lemonade made with real fruit, fresh mint, and a touch of honey sweetness. This Strawberry Honey Mint Lemonade recipe swaps out refined sugar for a smooth, floral honey syrup made with Local Hive Wildflower Honey, bringing a rich, natural sweetness that perfectly balances the tart lemons and juicy strawberries.

Step 1: Make the Honey Syrup 🍯

Honey dissolves best when warmed, so we’re making a quick honey simple syrup to blend seamlessly into the lemonade.

  1. In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup water over low heat.
  2. Stir in ½ cup Local Hive Wildflower Honey until fully dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Step 2 (optional): Blend the Strawberries 🍓

In a blender, combine 1 cup fresh strawberries with ½ cup water and blend until smooth Then strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds. (You can also soak thinly-sliced strawberries in the lemonade for an hour. They'll add plenty of sweetness either way.)

Step 3: Mix the Lemonade 🍋

  1. In a large pitcher, combine 1 cup fresh lemon juice, the honey syrup, and the strawberry puree. (Or raw strawberry slices.)
  2. Add 4 cups cold water and stir well.
  3. Toss in a handful of fresh mint leaves for extra refreshment.

Step 4: Serve & Enjoy 🧊

Pour over ice, garnish with lemon slices and extra mint, and sip on the ultimate all-natural spring refresher🍓🍯🍋
