INGREDIENTS
Chicken2 lbs chicken breasts or thighs, cubed
1 tbsp garlic powder
Black pepper & chile flakes, to taste
¼ cup flour (or gluten-free flour)
4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Veggies
3 cups broccoli florets or chopped asparagus
Salt & pepper, to taste
Honey Garlic Sauce
⅓ cup tamari or soy sauce
2 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp Local Hive Sriracha Hot Honey
6 cloves garlic, grated
3-4 tbsp gochujang (chili paste)
2 tbsp chopped green onion
1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
For Serving
Sesame seeds
Chopped green onions
Cooked rice (optional)
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment or grease with oil. In a bowl, toss chicken with garlic powder, black pepper, chile flakes, and flour. Drizzle with 2 tbsp olive oil and mix well.2. Spread chicken on one side of the baking sheet. Toss broccoli/asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then place on the other side. Bake for 10-15 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
3. In a bowl or jar, whisk together tamari, lemon juice, Local Hive Sriracha Hot Honey, garlic, gochujang, green onions, and sesame oil.
4. Remove veggies from the sheet pan. Pour sauce over the chicken, tossing to coat. Bake for 5 more minutes until the sauce thickens and caramelizes.
