Kayla used our New England Honey Blend which is an absolute top-tier Local Hive Honey. It has an unmistakable berry flavor thanks to the local floral sources in New England. Even if you're not from the area, New England honey is definitely worth a try.

This sticky chicken also features Local Hive Honey Hot Sauce, which is a sweet-heat blend of 100% U.S. honey and spicy peppers. It's great for cooking or just topping your favorite recipes.

Sweet and Spicy Sticky Chicken Recipe

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon Local Hive Original Honey Hot Sauce
3 tablespoons Local Hive New England Honey Blend
2 tablespoons low sodium gluten free soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1-2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp cornstarch
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp butter

DIRECTIONS

Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine the honey hot sauce, honey, soy sauce, white wine vinegar, red pepper flakes and cornstarch. Mix together.
2. In a frying pan, add the butter and garlic. Cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes to brown the garlic.
3. Add in the sauce mixture. Cook on medium heat for another 3-4 minutes until the sauce is warm and thick.
4. Add in your chicken. (I like to use chicken, coated in cornstarch and air fried until fully cooked and crispy).
5. Warm the chicken and sauce together.
6. Serve over rice.
